Osaka appears on Nissin's Cup Noodles
If you're missing watching WTA action right now, go grab a cup of noodles—Naomi Osaka's face may just be on them. The world No. 5 actually signed with Nissin, the maker of the famous Cup Noodles, back in 2016 when she was just 19.
Now that she's a US Open champion, her likeness is decorating the product, at least in Japan.
Osaka sported a Nissin patch on her way to her maiden Grand Slam title in New York.
She's not the only Asian superstar supported by the company as Kei Nishikori is also a brand ambassador. Osaka will try to chase more history in 2019 as she looks to rise higher than her career-high ranking of No. 4, which tied her with Nishikori's highest and Kimiko Date's best.
