Osaka asks for help improving her tweener game
The world No. 44 shows on Instagram she has some work to do.
Calling all tweener experts: Naomi Osaka needs your help.
The 20-year-old took a go at the hot shot during practice, and posted the video to Instagram. She tracked the ball down fine enough, but things went a little awry after she got to it.
If she really wants to tighten up her technique, there’s plenty of players she could try to emulate.
Nick Kyrgios, who commented on the post, has made tweeners part of his repertoire over the years and sometimes finds them to be twice as nice.
His occasional doubles partner and good friend Jack Sock is right there with him.
If Osaka wanted to see how a WTA colleague pulls them off, Agnieszka “the Ninja” Radwanksa is always a good player to study.
