Not too many people saw Roger Federer's remarkable 2017 season coming. Paul Annacone, however, is not like most people.
The 54-year-old is a former professional player and has served as coach for both Federer and Pete Sampras. He also assisted Stan Wawrinka during this year's grass-court season. Annacone is a tremendous tennis mind, so when he said that Federer was in store for a big year, we should have listened up:
It's worth noting that Annacone was also very high on Jack Sock heading into the Paris Masters this year. Sock would end up winning that event.
