The new King and Queen of Centre Court were crowned during a dramatic finals weekend at Wimbledon, with Carlos Alcaraz and Marketa Vondrousova taking home their first titles. On Sunday evening, the pair were celebrated at the All England Club's champions dinner with an evening unwind after an intense fortnight.

Held at the All England Club, the ball is a longstanding tradition marking the end of The Championships. The winners showed off their trophies, and were presented with their honorary club memberships.

It was a dream come true for 20-year-old men's champion Alcaraz, who defeated 23-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic in a five-set final thriller, 1-6, 7-6 (6), 6-1, 3-6, 6-4. A few hours later, he was decked out in Louis Vuitton and Rolex as he made his way back for the gala.

Surprise champion Vondrousova was the first unseeded player in Wimbledon history to lift the women's trophy. On Saturday, she stunned the tennis world—and herself—with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Ons Jabeur in the final.

"I made a bet with my coach. He said if I win a Grand Slam he’ll get a tattoo also," a grinning Vondrousova told press afterward. "I’ll choose for him. We may get the same one. I’ll make him do it.

"I’m going to have some beer now because it has been an exhausting two weeks."
