There are few places of renown in the world that top professional tennis players haven't visited. That is, except for Caroline Garcia.
The Frenchwoman spent part of her offseason away from warm climes, distant from a foodie capital or fashion mecca. She went to a place even the 11-month tennis calendar wouldn't dare expand to: Antarctica.
"This place is mind blowing," she wrote on X, captioning a picture of herself and plenty of penguins.
A video, posted two days later, shows Garcia plunging into the Arctic in a setting no one could possibly confuse with warmth.
"At least I would have wear my swimwear one time during my holidays," she quipped.
