Pliskova, Halep and more get to work for 2020

A trio of women near the top of the rankings are immersed in their pre-season training.

World No. 7 Petra Kvitova is prepping for the first Grand Slam of the season, where she reached the final in 2019.

World No. 4 Simona Halep is eager for a new season with a familiar face back on her team, Darren Cahill.

She and Cahill worked together for four years before taking a break in 2019.

And Karolina Pliskova is also busy back on court. At least all three WTA stars are in warm, tropical places.

The WTA season starts in January in Brisbane, Auckland and Shenzhen.
