Podoroska, Mertens race mini Porche in Linz
Many WTA players have already wrapped up their 2020 season, but for a select handful, the job is not over just yet. Nadia Podoroska, Elise Mertens and more stars are competing hard in Linz and then trading their racquets for mini Porsches.
After winning their matches on Wednesday, Mertens and Veronika Kudermetova picked up a controller and raced their remote-controlled mini Taycans around the court.
Porsche is one of the WTA International event's biggest sponsors, and the players seem to be enjoying taking their victory laps—except maybe for Kudermetova.
"I think I am playing tennis better than driving," Kudermetova wrote on Instagram.
The No. 6-seeded Podoroska slipped past Camila Giorgi on Thursday, 6-7 (4), 6-1, 6-4 and had the energy to pick up a controller for a couple of spins around the hard court.

Top seed Aryna Sabalenka also tried her hand at driving after easing past Stefanie Vogele. She's now on six-match win streak.
