Former world No. 2 Agnieszka Radwanska announced news of her retirement on Wednesday ending a 13-year career where she won 20 WTA titles, including the 2015 WTA Finals, made a Wimbledon final and finished eight years inside the Top 10.

The 29-year-old was known as “The Ninja” for her uncanny ability to hit one-of-a-kind hot shots. Her style of play was a striking contrast to the hard-hitting players that have consistently dominated the top of the game.

Radwanska received an outpouring of support from fans, players and reporters who congratulated her on her contributions to the sport and achievements on the court.

Petra Kvitova, Angelique Kerber and Elena Vesnina were among her friends that took to social media to celebrate Radwanska's career.

Her younger sister posted a special message, and photo:

And the love kept coming:

Radwanska has been a consistent fan favorite on the tour. She won the WTA Fan Favorite Award every year from 2011 to 2016, and Shot of the Year each year from 2013 to 2017.

The WTA collected some of her top moments on the court:

Including her last match win, to total 594 career victories.

And last but not least, one of her sponsors had a sweet message to share with her.

The Pole's presence on court will be sorely missed, but she still has many contributions to make to the tennis world and beyond.

“I’m hanging the racquet up and say goodbye to the pro tour, but I’m not leaving tennis,” Radwanska wrote. “Tennis is and always has been special in my life. But now it’s time for new challenges, new ideas, equally as exciting as those on the tennis court, I hope.”
