Rafael Nadal has not fully decided his schedule for the rest of the season, saying it will depend at least partly on his physical condition.

The 33-year-old is also rumored to be having his wedding to long-time girlfriend Maria Francisca Perello in five weeks.

Speaking to press in Mallorca following his win at the US Open, Nadal indicated he will play just a few events.

"I haven't got to speak to my team yet but I hope to have a conversation soon. Anyway, to decide my schedule I have to see the way my body reacts," he said. "Immediately, what's planned is the Laver Cup."

Nadal, who has played a limited schedule in recent years and experienced frequent injury problems, appeared unsure about the rest of the season.

"The next thing, I don't know," he said. "We will fix the priorities for the rest of the year and also looking at the next one. The Masters [ATP Tour Finals] obviously, and Asia is to be decided. The Masters and Paris [Masters] is what I have fixed."

The Spaniard is also scheduled to play the Davis Cup in Madrid following the ATP Tour Finals.

Nadal is No. 2 in the rankings.
