Ryan Seacrest fails spectacularly at ballperson tryouts

Ryan Seacrest tested out his ball-boy skills at the site of the US Open on Live with Kelly and Ryan, and it turned out he wasn't good enough for the gig—not even close.

After spazzing out all throughout his tryout, Seacrest wound up getting relegated to being the guy who who sells the giant tennis balls.

"Ryan, you tried hard, and I think you wanted it, but it's not for everybody," said Assistant Director of Ball Persons Cathie Delaney.

Fortunately, Seacrest has a pretty good television career to fall back on.

The US Open main-draw starts on Monday, Aug. 27.
