Schwartzman gets hit where it hurts in loss to Nishikori
The Argentine was more to blame for the mishap than his opponent
In Madrid, Diego Schwartzman's day started off on the wrong foot when he warmed up with Kei Nishikori for their second-round match. The Argentine—appearing very relaxed—went for a trick shot during his volleys, only to misjudge Nishikori's shot and get hit right where it hurts.
Schwartzman managed to walk it off, and the match went on without a hitch, though it proved to be very topsy turvy. Nishikori would get away with the win, 1-6, 6-0, 6-4.
It's Nishikori's first win since Miami.
