Sebastian Korda fills up highlight reel in win over Vasek Pospisil
The Canadian served his way to a close scoreline, but Korda hit some seriously hot-shots in his 7-5, 6-4, victory.
Let’s start at the beginning. Vasek Pospisil served incredibly well in the first set, making 70 percent of his first serves while winning 90 percent of his first-serve points. But it was clear that Sebastian Korda was not going to be denied in the Citi Open first round.

Korda's ability to hold the baseline combined with his point-ending power makes him elite.

After some more seriously good serving from Pospisil, it was crunch time. This is one heck of a passing shot at 5-5 duece.

Not only was Korda rock-solid from the ground, his improvisational skills were also impressive.

Pospisil's best was still not enough to defeat the young American. Do not be surprised if Korda lifts his second ATP trophy later this week in Washington, D.C.
