Serena is wearing a purple Nike dress during her day-session US Open matches. Even though the dress has long sleeves, Nike incorporated a breathable fabric that is super light weight. The black belting is flattering and adds a little edge to the simple look.

The internet erupted when the 37-year-old took the court against Maria Sharapova in her all-black Nike catsuit. Although simple, it's a daring and bold; an outfit that only Serena could pull off. The 23-time Grand Slam champion has played some of her most impressive tennis wearing her night suit. She has only dropped three games in it, moving past Wang Qiang on Tuesday night, 6-1, 6-0.

The world No. 8 turned pro in 1995 and is still on top of the tennis world and is just two matches away from capturing a record-breaking 24th Grand Slam title at the US Open. Her win over Wang marked her 100th US Open victory.

She will take the court for her semifinal on Thursday against against No. 5 seed Elina Svitolina.
