Serena Williams is so much more than her 23 Grand Slam singles titles and weeks at No. 1. The American has maintained multiple identities throughout her decades on tour, from mother to entrepreneur and, most prolifically, fashion designer.

The S by Serena proprietor announced a new line of womenswear entitled Xena on social media this week, marking the debut in a pair of eye-catching leggings.

“Strong leggings are just the beginning…” she wrote.

Serena began teasing images from the Xena line at the end of July, culminating with a millennium-inspired photoshoot with the former No. 1 sporting the Zip Front Legging in Opaline, which features a “Be Strong” message across the leg.

Williams last took the court at the Wimbledon Championships, where she was forced to retire early in her first-round against Aliaksandra Sasnovich after injuring her right leg on Centre Court.
