Sharapova vacations on Necker Island with Richard Branson

There are offseason vacations, and then there are Maria Sharapova's offseason vacations.

The five-time Slam champion spent some time with billionaire Richard Branson on his private island, where they taught one another tennis and chess.

Playing tennis can't be too relaxing a holiday for a veteran tennis player, but Sharapova's attire indicates it was quite casual.

And she found plenty else on Necker Island to do.

Branson will get to use Sharapova's tips at this week's Necker Cup pro-am, which is set to include Serena Williams, Caroline Wozniacki, Eugenie Bouchard, Tennys Sandgren, Tommy Haas and more.

The Necker Cup's "Participant Experience" costs $115,000 per couple.
