Should the WTA and ATP merge?

Despite having two separate governing bodies for men's and women's tennis, the WTA and ATP work closely to ensure that all players, organizers and fans have the best experiences possible on tour.

Yet recently this separation was called into question when WTA President Micky Lawler said that she "would like to see more collaboration and eventually coming together as one governing body..."

Currently, there are a few top-level combined tournaments, such as Indian Wells and Madrid. Yet most of the tour consists of separate tournaments, and the WTA and ATP have entirely different calendars, broadcast partners, and commercial relationships. What do you think?
