Sock talks about finding a balance on the ATP Tour

On Wednesday, Jack Sock won his first round Stockholm over Jeremy Chardy, effectively ending a five-match losing streak dating back to Montreal in August. He sat down with the ATP to talk about how he keeps his life balanced when he's grinding on tour.

The Kansas City resident tries to spend as much time as possible at home, even training there during the off season.

"You know when you're home you kind of get back to civilization and life somewhat of a normal life," the 25-year-old said. "You know for the next 6, 8 years you have to put that aside and devote everything to tennis."

Ranked No. 21, the American has enjoyed a fairly strong 2017 season despite the recent skid. He won two titles (Auckland and Delray Beach) and reached the semifinals of Indian Wells and Washington.
