Stars step out in iconic looks at Beijing player party

As a Premier Mandatory event on the WTA and an ATP 500 for the men, the China Open in Beijing is one of the biggest combined stops on tour each year. The tournament is also known for its extravagant player party, which never seems to disappoint.

The stars—including all four 2019 women's Grand Slam winners—stepped out at Beijing's Olympic Tower on Sunday, and the looks were simply too good. Here are some of the photos:

When Bianca Andreescu won $1.3 million for her first WTA title, in Indian Wells, she told reporters that the one luxury item she wanted to buy was a Louis Vuitton purse. Now that she's also won the Rogers Cup and the US Open, she could afford the shoes as well.

The China Open, in a lot of ways, is a low-key highlight of the tour each year.

The top players, particularly on the women's side, put on a show of Grand Slam-level quality. Main-draw play started over the weekend with a lineup that included a slew of major champions like Halep, Osaka, Venus Williams, Garbine Muguruza, Angelique Kerber, Karolina Pliskova and Sloane Stephens.
