He joins Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray and Juan Martin del Potro.
With a hard-fought 7-6 (3), 4-6, 6-4 victory over American Taylor Fritz in the championship match, Marin Cilic captured his second ATP title of the year—and the 20th of his career—in St. Petersburg, Russia on Sunday.
The Croat is just the sixth active player to win 20 or more ATP titles.

The 2014 US Open champion and former No. 3 has had an excellent two weeks in Russia, going 9-1—he went 4-1 in Moscow last week (finishing runner-up to Aslan Karatsev) and 5-0 to win the title in St. Petersburg this week.
Of his 20 career ATP titles, 13 of them have come in three countries. He’s won five titles in his home country of Croatia (Zagreb in 2009, 2010, 2013 and 2014, and Umag in 2012) and four each in Russia (St. Petersburg in 2011 and 2021, and Moscow in 2014 and 2015) and the United States (New Haven in 2008, Delray Beach and the US Open in 2014, and Cincinnati in 2016).
