Taylor Fritz has always been a danger to top players, but over the last three months he’s actually been beating them more than they’ve been beating him.

The American No. 1 has won seven of his last nine matches against Top 20 players, a stretch that started at Indian Wells three months ago and has continued through the ATP Cup this past week—most recently beating a No. 12-ranked Cameron Norrie during the United States' tie against Great Britain on Thursday.

His only two losses in this stretch came against a No. 1 and a No. 3.

Going into Indian Wells last year, Fritz had a 13-35 career record against Top 20 players, but he's completely flipped that ratio in this 7-2 run.

The American is currently ranked a career-high No. 23 and could move closer to the Top 20 on Monday depending on other players’ results this week.
