Stefanos Tsitsipas visits Los Angeles before heading to Indian Wells

The world No. 3, who loves to see the sights in between his tour stops, has never reached the third round of the Masters 1000 tournament.

The BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells is almost here.

The 1000-level tournament, usually played in March every year, was postponed to October due to COVID-19. Despite a number of high-profile withdrawals, many of the sport's stars are headed to the California desert, including Emma Raducanu and Kim Clijsters, who both received wild-card invitations.

Stefanos Tsitsipas will also take part in the competition, and the Greek star decided to take a little detour beforehand. Heading out for a quick visit to nearby Los Angeles, the world No. 3 shared a photo on his Instagram, rocking the shades on a hillside.

Why he is wearing a sweater in the middle of sunny California, we are not sure.

The French Open finalist has played in Indian Wells twice before, getting stopped in the second round both times.
