(Still) trending upward: The world reacts to Rafael Nadal's 14th Roland Garros conquest

Twitter was ablaze after Rafa's latest display of excellence on the terre battue.

Twitter was not a thing when the Spaniard won his very first Grand Slam title, 17 years ago in Paris.

It very much is today. And after the 36-year-old won the French Open for the 14th time—for his record-extending 22nd Grand Slam singles title—we saw some of the best of what the digital platform can offer.
