Strawberry Man Chris Fava turns into Wimbledon trophy

Maybe you've seen the Strawberry Man around the grounds at the All England Club during Wimbledon or on TV? That creative mind behind the costume is American Chris Fava, and he's gained fame with each passing year.

Back in 2013, he put on a blue sky bodysuit for a day watching the tennis in London. He's also been dressed up as the sun and Rufus the hawk.

Then two years ago, in his now-famous Strawberry Man getup, BBC cameras spotted him in the crowd.

The suit is an ode to Wimbledon's famous strawberries and cream dessert.

He said he had no idea it would be so popular.

He's gained fame with each passing day, and has landed a spot in the Wimbledon museum alongside great champions like Billie Jean King, Bjorn Borg, Roger Federer and many more.

This fortnight, Fava decided to upgrade to a trophy suit (although the Strawberry Man suit will always make an appearance).

It's really quite impressive, all the way down to the fine details like his golden nails, his golden shades and the names of past champions.

He was even quick to make the proper changes to his suit when Novak Djokovic won the title over Kevin Anderson.

Needless to say, people are impressed.

And everyone wants a piece of him:

Who knows what the Strawberry Man will wear next year?
