Suicide Pool: Ladies' Final
As finals go, that was probably not the most exciting. The suicide pool was , in fact, more exciting and actually went to a tiebreak.
Poor Ana was obviously overwhelmed by the moment (hugs Ana for good measure).
Everyone picked Justine Henin to win (almost by default). And everyone beat the draw. The one and only winner, however, was decided by a tiebreak. The details of the tie break below.
SUICIDE POOL TIEBREAK
Each contestant emailed to the organizer mmmm8, their best guesses for the following for stats.
- Number of sets in the women's final
- Number of games
- Number of breaks of serve (overall, not just by the winner)
- Total points won by the Champion.
The contestants were assessed on their guesses in the order listed above. The issue was ultimately resolved based on the number of games.
Total number of games in the match: 15.
The winning guess: 18.
It should also be noted that the winner of the TW section of the Suicide Pool was also the winner of the overall TAT Suicide Pool of the Women's draw.
