Taylor Fritz to undergo knee surgery; Stan Wawrinka withdraws from Wimbledon with foot injury
The 36-year-old has not played since Doha three months ago because of a foot injury.

Taylor Fritz has announced that the knee injury he incurred during a second-round exit at Roland Garros will require surgery.
The 23-year-old tore his meniscus, but said it will only be a minor procedure, and that he could be back in three weeks to play Wimbledon.
"On match point when I came down from hitting a forehand, I heard a pop in my knee," said Fritz on social media, adding that he "couldn’t move and could barely limp myself to the net to shake hands" following the injury.
Fritz is currently No. 33 in the rankings and the highest-ranked American.
In other injury news, Stan Wawrinka has withdrawn from Wimbledon, along with all his scheduled grass-court warmup events. The 36-year-old has not played since the ATP event in Doha three months ago because of a foot injury.
Wawrinka is currently No. 24 in the rankings; Wimbledon is the only major he has not won.
The three-time Grand Slam champion has not announced when he plans to return to competition.
