Tennis stars battle hockey, soccer pros in Canada
The Rogers Cup venues in Toronto and Montreal are hosting two of the biggest US Open lead-up tournaments this week, but on Sunday, two very different sports took center stage there: hockey and soccer.
The ATP players in Toronto faced off with retired NHL players, while the women in Montreal played a match against MLS's Montreal Impact.
Canadian 17-year-old Felix Auger-Aliassime was one of the hockey game's main attractions ...
As was huge Anaheim Ducks fan Steve Johnson.
World No. 5 Grigor Dimitrov struggled a little, maybe because he was playing left-handed, as opposed to his right-handed tennis game.
On the soccer front over in Montreal, Daria Kasatkina and Kristina Mladenovic stole the show.
The match between the tennis and soccer players ended in a tie.
The Rogers Cup kicked off on Monday.
