I went on Getty to get a nice image for this, your traditional off-topic thread.  This picture made me laugh out loud.  Do you think that the photographer just couldn't resist that head of perfectly tousled curls?  I have a feeling that ardent tennis fans will guess who this is fairly quickly, but in case you're having trouble, there is a better picture of the player a little further down.

Nonetheless, this is your space for non-Roland Garros chatter.  I will prove it by asking a very key question: who is going to Wimbledon?

I will be in London during Wimby, and so will at least a few other TW members.  If there's sufficient interest, perhaps we can arrange some kind of informal gathering one evening.  But I will be traveling around beforehand with hostel-level access to email, so let's start the ball rolling now.

And don't forget, while planning for Grand Slams, that US Open tickets open up for individual sale on Monday.

Finally, as always, don't forget to send me your photos and stories!  Tennis anecdotes welcome.

Haven't heard much about doubles, have you?  Guess even that head of hair's not enough to draw attention when it's not paired with JJ.
