And baby makes three!

Less than a year after officially retiring from tennis, former world No. 4 Caroline Garcia announced Sunday that she and husband Borja Duran are expecting their first child.

The couple revealed the happy news in a joint post to their social media accounts, where they walked along the beach at the scenic Hotel Fairmont Mayakoba Riviera Maya in Mexico wearing blue and holding sonogram photos. A popular player amongst her peers, Garcia's news was received warmly by WTA players including Paula Badosa, Barbora Krejcikova and Jasmine Paolini, as well as former world No. 1 Garbiñe Muguruza, who just had a son, and Ons Jabeur, who will welcome a son next month.

While the couple didn't explicitly reveal the gender of their upcoming new addition, perhaps their blue outfits were meant to be a hint?

Garcia, 32, married Duran last summer in Spain, as the couple works together to produce the popular "Tennis Insider Club" podcast since its 2024 debut.

The former WTA Finals champion, who had an emotional send-off at Roland Garros last spring and played her last match at the US Open, hosts one of several player-produced podcasts in the sport that offers an unfiltered perspective on professional tennis from a player who's lived it.
