The Time of the Season

Howdy, everyone. I am auto-posting this to go up Sunday while we are at the farm in game-rich Andes, for the three-day Columbus Day weekend. I know you're not supposed to be at work, hanging around at the watercooler on Sunday, but at TennisWorld, every day is Sunday - every day is like a Big Finals day, right?

So use this thread for match-calling and general everyday chit-chat, and look for Ed McGrogan's Monday Net Post feature tomorrow. It's supposed to be 80-degrees plus in New York City this weekend, which would translate to about 70 in Andes, but who knows - maybe we get one last swim in the pond (although I like to dip as late as October or November, despite the spring-fed - read cohohohohld - water).

We usually hit the peak of our autumn colors on the weekend closest to Oct. 12th, but the fireworks have already started!
