Tiafoe adds former Top 10 player Wayne Ferreira to coaching team
The 22-year-old is aiming to turn around a poor start to the season, with just two wins in five tour events.
Frances Tiafoe is adding former world No. 6 Wayne Fereira to his coaching team. The 22-year-old is also coached by Zack Evenden.
Ferreira, who won 15 singles and 11 doubles titles, has also worked as a college coach and a coaching consultant to ATP players like Marin Cilic.
Tiafoe is aiming to turn around a poor start to the season, with just two wins in five tour events. He is now No. 82 in the rankings, having reached a high of No. 29 around this time in 2019.
He will next play the Oracle challenger event at Indian Wells, his third challenger of the season. That follows a first-round defeat to Stanislas Wawrinka at Acapulco.
