In Brisbane, Naomi Osaka took out No. 6 seed Kiki Bertens 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, to set up a semifinals clash against defending champion Karolina Pliskova. Osaka seems to be carrying momentum from her strong 2019 finish into the 2020 season.
