Top 5 Photos 1/29: Halep treasures moments in Adelaide

A handful of top players, including current ATP and WTA world No.1s, made their return to competitive play at the A Day at the Drive exhibition event in Adelaide. Serena Williams and Naomi Osaka shook off the lockdown rust as they took the court in front of a full crowd during the day session. The 23-time major champion managed to pull off a 2-6, 6-2, 10-7 win, but both were overwhelmed with joy to see fans in the stands.

Later on, world No. 1 Ashleigh Barty took the court against two-time major champion Simona Halep. The Romanian would inch past the hometown favorite, 3-6, 6-1, 10-8, in the final match in Adelaide.
