Novak Djokovic soared into the Australian Open final and is now just one win away from capturing his eighth title Down Under. In their 50th meeting, Djokovic dismissed Roger Federer, 7-6 (1), 6-4, 6-3, in just over two hours. Federer was battling a groin injury, which he suffered in his previous match against Tennys Sandgren.

Sofia Kenin is living the dream in Melbourne. The 21-year-old fought past world No. 1 Ashleigh Barty 7-6 (6), 7-5, to reach her first Grand Slam final. "I'm so speechless. I honestly can't believe this," Kenin said during her on-court interview.

Australians Heath Davidson and Dylan Alcott defended their doubles title to lift the Australian Open trophy yet again. The duo dismissed Andy Lapthorne and David Wagner 6-4, 6-3, and were joined in the trophy presentation by Alexander Zverev.
