The Aussie crowd roared as Nick Kyrgios posted a 7-6 (7), 6-7 (3), 7-6 (5) score against Stefanos Tsitsipas in Brisbane. Kyrgios and Team Australia will head to Sydney, where they will face Great Britain.

Pablo Cuevas of Team Uruguay spent Tuesday with his daughter Antonia and teammates at the Perth Zoo. The world No. 45 suffered a straight-set loss to Rafael Nadal, which prevented Uruguay from advancing.

Serena Williams started her 2020 campaign off with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Camila Giorgi in Auckland. It was the 23-time Grand Slam champion's first match back since falling short of the US Open title.

After two consecutive loses to start the season, Fabio Fognini captured the tie-clinching win for Italy by ousting John Isner 6-4, 7-6(5). Still, the Italians were unable to secure a spot in the ATP Cup's last eight.
