The best eight players who overcame adversity during the unusual 2020 season are all coming together in London. The ATP Finals action is now two days in as the competitors are vying for the prestigious year-end title.
These are the Top 5 photos for Monday (all photos Getty Images):
1
Daniil Medvedev
This is the second consecutive season Medvedev has appeared at the year-end event, and the Russian has captured his first ATP Finals match win. The world No. 4 seamlessly posted a 6-3, 6-4 score to avenge his 2019 loss at the year-end event to Alexander Zverev. Medvedev also just beat the German in the final of Paris.

Novak Djokovic
The world No. 1 got off to a perfect start in London by dismissing Diego Schwartzman 6-3, 6-2, in his first round-robin match. The Serbian enters the year-end event having taken a surprising 6-2, 6-1 loss to Italy's Lorenzo Sonego in Vienna's quarterfinal. Djokovic is seeking a record breaking sixth ATP Finals title and will face Dominic Thiem next.

3
Diego Schwartzman
The Argentine may have taken a rough loss to Djokovic in his London debut, but the world No. 9 has accomplished a lot just by reaching the year-end event. Schwartzman found himself in his first-ever Roland Garros semifinals in October after he stunned Rafael Nadal in Rome.

4
Horacio Zeballos and Marcel Granollers
The Argentinian and Spaniard kicked off their ATP Finals campaign by edging past Michael Venus and John Peers, 7-6 (2), 7-5. The pair claimed this year's rescheduled Rome ATP Masters 1000 along with the Rio Open in February.

5
Bruno Soares and Mate Pavic
The reigning US Open champions managed to find a way to find win against the No. 8 seeds Edouard Roger-Vasselin and Jurgen Melzer. The Brazil and Croatian duo lost the opening set, but finished strong to post a 6-7 (6), 6-1, 10-4 score to kick their week off on a winning note.
