Felix Auger-Aliassime

The 20-year-old was seeded No. 14 and lost the first set against Marin Cilic in shocking fashion. Despite the bagel, he wouldn't bow down without a fight. The young Canadian would capture the second set to even things out, but he wasn't able to sustain the same level of play, losing 0-6, 6-3, 3-6, to the 2014 US Open champion.

Ugo Humbert

The French player posted a 4-6 6-2 7-6 (1) win against this year’s Rome ATP Masters 1000 semifinalist Casper Ruud to claim his sixth consecutive match victory. Humbert just took the title in Antwerp, defeating Alex de Minaur in the final round to lift the trophy. The 22-year-old will next face No. 2 seed Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Borna Coric

On Court Central, the 23-year-old encountered some issues against qualifier Marton Fucsovics, but still managed to grab a 7-6 (5), 6-1 win to advance. Coric won 35 of his 48 first-service points to set up a second-round clash against Australia's Jordan Thompson.

Corentin Moutet

The Frenchman shook off a tricky first set against Salvatore Caruso to rally his way back to a 3-6, 7-6 (2), 6-3 opening victory. Moutet held a 72 percent first-serve winning percentage and cracked three aces in his first round and will next battle Cilic.

The thrilling action Paris will continue on Tuesday with more top players taking the court. Stan Wawrinka is set to face an in-form Dan Evans, while No. 7 seed Matteo Berrettini will take on American qualifier Marcos Giron, who has been playing some top-level tennis lately.
