Daniil Medvedev

Thats eight matches in a row for the Russian. Medvedev easily dismissed Diego Schwartzman, 6-3, 6-3, to bump his spotless ATP Finals record this week to 3-0. Although Medvedev had already secured his final four spot, he was relentless and came out focused to get another win. The world No. 4 will take on 20-time major champion Rafael Nadal next.

"I can't afford a long match here so I'll just play a ridiculous level of tennis," Medvedev said following Friday's win.

Diego Schwartzman

It was a rocky finish for the Argentine as he wasn't able to claim a single match at the year-end event. Schwartzman has much to be proud of this year: he finished within the Top 10 for the first time in his career and reached the semifinals at this year's rescheduled Roland Garros.

Novak Djokovic

The world No. 1 is back into the semifinals for the ninth time in his career. Djokovic posted a 6-3, 7-6 (4) score over the 2018 champion Alexander Zverev. The Serbian will battle this year's US Open champion Dominic Thiem for a spot in the final round.

Alexander Zverev

One thing is for certain, the German went out swinging. Zverev cracked 38 winners and only hit 19 unforced errors, but still he would fall in straight sets. The 23-year-old came up short by double faulting and missing opportunities to break Djokovic early in the second set, which would ultimately send him home.

Bruno Soares and Mate Pavic

The Croatian-Brazilian tandem squeezed past John Peers and Michael Venus, 6-7 (2), 6-3, 10-8, to capture their second win of the event and put the pressure on Melzer and Roger-Vasselin. The Germans needed to win in straight sets and they did just that when Granollers and Zeballos retired abruptly at 6-6 in the opening set.

Soares and Pavic end their season on a winning note, but don't qualify for the semifinals.
