Gael Monfils appears to be unstoppable these last couple of weeks. The Frenchman dismissed Japan's Yasutaka Uchiyama, 6-1, 6-2, to claim his 11th consecutive victory. Monfils is just three wins away from capturing his third title in 2020.

Belinda Bencic trailed Yulia Putintseva 3-1 in their head-to-head record. But on Wednesday, the world No. 9 closed the gap by posting a 6-4, 6-3 win in Doha. Bencic is into her second quarterfinal appearance of 2020 and will face Svetlana Kuznetsova.

Defending Dubai finalist Stefanos Tsitsipas posted 7-6 (1), 6-4 win over Alexander Bublik to book his spot in Dubai's quarterfinals. The Greek kept his composure and stayed calm to get through the close first set and run away with the match.
