It was far from a spectacular day of tennis in Monte Carlo because of the stormy weather that washed out most of the Day 2 action. Meanwhile, Charleston's second event hit the ground running on Monday.

Felix Auger-Aliassime

Under the watchful eye of Toni Nadal, the Canadian soared to a 3-0 lead before No. 16 seed Cristian Garin got on the board. Auger-Aliassime led 4-2 when play was cancelled for the day due to dismal weather in Monaco.

Hubert Hurkacz

Fresh off winning his first ever Masters 1000 title in Miami, the Polish player was back at it and off to a great start on Monday. Hurkacz led Italy's Thomas Fabbiano, 6-3, 0-1, before play was suspended.

Rain Ran Go Away

A handful of fiery matches weren't able to conclude on Monday. The Monte Carlo magic will just have to wait another day.

Charleston's 250-level event is in action and the doubles No. 1 seeds notched a clean and seamless 6-0, 6-1 score over Japan's Makoto Ninomiya and Kurumi Nara. The duo will take on Wang Yafan and Katarzyna Piter next.

Dan Evans

After three consecutive opening-round losses, the 30-year-old Brit is looking to post a win. Evans got off to a solid start by taking the first set 6-3 against Dusan Lajovic on the red dirt before his match was suspended.
