Top 5 Photos, 5/25: UTR showcases four WTA stars
Tennis' returned continued this weekend at the UTR Pro Match Seres tournament in West Palm Beach, Fla. Fans watching (not on site) got to see high-pressure moments, shots of brilliance and anger, and intense competitive spirit. The new normal also included temperature checks, masks, regular cleaning, racquet taps and drone footage.
And of course, with Florida tennis comes Florida weather and rain managed to ruin the last day of play—just like in the good old days. Ajla Tomljanovic and Danielle Collins were tied at one-set all with the winner set to face Alison Riske in the final.
All four Top-60 WTA stars still got some quality tennis in, so here are some of the top photos from the weekend.

Tomljanovic won her opening match on Friday against Alison Riske, but dropped a three-setter to Anisimova on Saturday.

The buzzing sound of the drone has become part of the new normal. Collins went 1-1 over the weekend with a win over Anisimova and a loss to Riske.

Riske was the only player to get two wins in, with victories over Anisimova and Collins. She suffered a loss to Tomljanovic.

Even though the tournament didn't count for WTA points, UTR points and prize money was on the line. Collins needed seven set points to even the score with Tomjlanovic on Saturday before rain suspended play.

Florida tennis will always be susceptible to hectic weather, even during quarantine season. Rain cancelled the Tomljanovic vs. Collins third set, as well as the final and consolation matches.
