Top 5 Photos, 6/22: Brits get ready to battle in Roehampton

Wimbledon's manic Monday would have been today, which would be 16 fourth-round singles matches at the All England Club. Although the Grand Slam was cancelled due to the coronavirus, fans have something else to look forward to this week.

The Battle of the Brits is set to kick off on Tuesday and will feature both doubles and singles play from the top British players, including Andy and Jamie Murray. The special event will be aired on Tennis Channel.

These are the Top 5 photos from Monday from the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton.

The six-day charity event was organized by Jamie Murray. A minimum of  £100,000 from the singles and doubles events will go directly to NHS Charities Together. The event will also be played without fans, ball persons or line judges to help with social distancing.

The event will mark Andy Murray's first competitive match since the Davis Cup Finals in November of last year. He will take on world No. 211 Liam Brody in his opener.

World No. 167 Jay Clarke will also be joining in the action. The 21-year-old's last competitive match was in February, when he fell to Michail Pervolarakis at the Launceston ATP Challenger in Australia.

Top Brit Dan Evans is looking very hungry for some match play. Evans was upset in the Australian Open's second round by Yoshihito Nishioka and hasn't competed in four months. The world No. 28 is set to battle Clarke in his first match back.

World No. 77 Cameron Norrie didn't get off to the best start this season, falling short in the opening round at the first major of the year. Norrie held a 4-7 record before COVID-19 shut down the world. He will kick off the event alongside Brody to take on doubles specialists Jamie Murray and Neal Skupski.
