Dominic Thiem recharged his batteries after some impressive play in Berlin. The world No. 3 defeated Matteo Berrettini on grass in the first stage of the event. Thiem would then go on to capture the second stage on hard courts, defeating Jannik Sinner in the airport hangar final.
