Top 5 Photos 9/21: Djokovic's Rome win breaks records

Two champions were crowned on the red clay courts in Rome. World No. 1 Novak Djokovic fought his way back from a double break down in the opening set to top Diego Schwartzman and capture his record-breaking 36th ATP Masters 1000 title. The Serbian has now held the world No. 1 spot for 287 consecutive weeks, surpassing Pete Sampras' record of 286 weeks.

On the women's side, Simona Halep managed to shake off the dirt after a nasty fall in the second game of the final. She bageled Kristina Pliskova in the first set and raced to a 2-1 lead in the second when the defending champion retired due to injury. Although it wasn't the greatest ending, the Romanian had an amazing week in Rome.

These are the Top 5 Photos from the final day at the Italian Open.
