1. Nikoloz Basilashvili saved match points to defeat hometown favorite Alexander Zverev, 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (5), in a thrilling semifinal in Hamburg. The world No. 16 kept his composure and hit winners on both match points to rally back and keep his title defense alive. Basilashvili will face Andrey Rublev in the tournament's final on Sunday.

2. It was a perfect day for tennis in Hamburg on Saturday. The largest tennis arena in Germany was packed as fans came to root for their hometown favorite Zverev. Although the world No. 5 wasn't able to get the win he captured three victories and nearly closed out another at the ATP 500-level event.

3. Dominic Inglot and Austin Krajicek squeezed past a close first set against Jack Sock and Jackson Withrow in Atlanta to capture their semifinal match, 7-6 (4), 6-3. The No. 2 seeds will battle either Jonathan Erlich  and Divij Sharan or the tournament's top seeds Bob and Mike Bryan for the title.

4. The 15-year-old Cori Gauff captured her first-round qualifying match at the Citi Open. Gauff rallied past college standout Maegan Manasse, 6-4, 6-2, to advance to the final round of qualifying. The Wimbledon star will face either Maria Sanchez or Hiroko Kuwata for a spot in the main draw.

5. Alex de Minaur improved his match record to 2-0 against American Reilly Opelka. In the up-and-down semifinal, the Aussie emerged victorious, 7-6 (4), 6-7 (5), 6-3, to advance into his first final since January. The 20-year-old will look to capture his second ATP title of the season on Sunday.
