Sunday was the last day of last-minute tune-ups for many players ahead of Monday's start.
Sunday was an important practice day a Wimbledon with main-draw action kicking off on Monday.
1. Rafael Nadal looks to make his bid for a third Wimbledon crown, as the No. 3 seed. Sitting in the same half as Roger Federer, he opens on Tuesday against Japan's Yuichi Sugita. He played, and lost, two exhibition matches on grass since winning his 12th Roland Garros title,

2. Simona Halep was all smiles on her final practice day. She enters the grass major having reached the quarterfinals of Eastbourne only to lose in straight sets to last year's Wimbledon champion Angelique Kerber. She'll start on Monday against Aliaksandra Sasnovich.

3. Maria Sharapova has played just one event since February due to a shoulder injury. She went 1-1 in Mallorca, also losing to Kerber. The Russian is in a loaded top section of the draw, and opens against France's Pauline Parmentier.

4. Stefanos Tsitsipas has managed just a 2-2 record on grass leading into Wimbledon, but he'll have some confidence going in as the No. 7 seed. He's looking to put the heartbreak of his Roland Garros quarterfinal loss to Stan Wawrinka well behind him.

5. The lawns of the All England Club always look so perfect before matches get underway. Monday will see defending champion Novak Djokovic get Centre Court started against Philipp Kohlschreiber, with Naomi Osaka taking on Yulia Putintseva after. Putintseva just upset Osaka in Birmingham.
