It was an action packed Thursday as two legends reunited in Geneva and a local WTA favorite continued to thrive in Osaka. These are the Top 5 photos that sum it all up.

1. Roger Federer gave Rod Laver his first tour of the Rocket Club within the Palexpo arena on Thursday. The Grand Slam champion wanted to create an event where current players could rub shoulders with history. Federer has always been inspired from the players before him, but Laver was always his childhood hero.

2. Jamie and Judy Murray took part in a tennis clinic during the Murray Trophy tournament, an ATP Challenger event, in Glasgow. The Murrays are looking to increase awareness to the sport that has brought them so much success by making tennis more accessible in Scotland.

3. Misaki Doi is having a great stretch in Japan. Last week, she reached the final of Hiroshima, but fell short of the title to fellow Japanese Nao Hibino. This week, the world No. 83 is into the quarterfinals of the Japan Open after upsetting the No. 7 seed Donna Vekic in Osaka. Doi will next face Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova for a spot in the semifinals.

4. Stefanos Tsitsipas is taking a break from the online community. The Greek player stated on Instagram,"my social media detox is still on it’s run. Two weeks in with all the apps deleted and honestly, it’s a great feeling so far!" Tsitsipas will face American Taylor Fritz on Friday in the opening day of the Laver Cup.

5. Former US Open winner Samantha Stosur claimed her 600th WTA win in her Guangzhou opener against Tereza Martincova on Monday. She has since progressed to the last four after posting a 6-2, 7-6 (1) victory over Nina Stojanovic. This marks Stosur's first semifinal appearance of 2019.
