The Asian swing continues this week in Beijing and Tokyo, as a number of contenders successfully won their openers. These are the Top 5 photos from Monday.

1. Canada's Bianca Andreescu secured her 15th consecutive win, slipping past Aliaksandra Sasnovich, 6-2, 2-6, 6-1, to open her Beijing title quest. Andreescu showcased the same mental strength and willpower that guided her to the US Open trophy. The 19-year-old will face Elise Mertens, who she defeated in the last eight at Flushing Meadows.

2. After suffering a first-round loss in Zhuhai last week, Yoshihito Nishioka is off to a better start on home soil. The 24-year-old dismissed Joao Sousa, 7-5, 6-3, to set up a second-round battle with Lucas Pouille in Tokyo. Nishioka had a breakthrough earlier this season in Cincinnati, when as a qualifier, dispatched world No. 5 Kei Nishikori en route to the quarterfinals.

3. American Madison Keys stopped by the official merchandise booth at the China Open before starting her Beijing campaign. Keys would go on to defeat Karolina Muchova, 6-4, 7-6 (5), to move into the second round. The world No. 15 will next take on Jennifer Brady, as she seeks her third WTA title of the season.

4. Fans were excited to see Alexander Zverev take the court in Beijing. Zverev didn't disappoint, posting a dominating 6-3, 6-2 victory over Frances Tiafoe to defeat the American for the fifth time in six meetings. The German captured his 35th win of the season and awaits the winner between Felix Auger-Aliassime and Albert Ramos-Vinolas.

5. Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Sofia Kenin battled past Alison Riske and Raluca Olaru, 5-7, 6-1, 10-4, to win their team debut in Beijing. The two will next play 2019 US Open champions Elise Mertens and Aryna Sabalenka. Mattek-Sands will be looking for revenge after losing to the pair last week in Wuhan with Caroline Garcia.
