Tsitsipas falters at camera signing in Sofia
Usually players jump into writing on the camera lens the second they are handed the marker but Stefanos Tsitsipas seemed to have been dealing with a case of writer's block. The 20-year-old is the No. 2 seed at the Sofia Open in Bulgaria and had just dispatched Jan-Lennard Struff, 7-6 (5), 6-4.
He's picking up a reputation for putting forth serious and in-depth thoughts at every chance he gets, often borrowing from famous writers and photographers.
The Greek will take on Gael Monfils for a spot in the semifinals. If he wins that match, Tsitsipas may just stick with what everyone does for the camera lens ritual: sign their name or a simple greeting.
