U.S. Fed Cup team steps out in black and gold

This year's U.S. Fed Cup team is stacked, featuring three Top-20 stars, a fast-rising phenom and a former No. 1 doubles champion. On Thursday, they stepped out for the traditional team dinner in black and gold.

World No. 7 Sofia Kenin, World No. 9 Serena Williams, world No. 18 Alison Riske, world No. 51 Coco Gauff and doubles world No. 20 Bethanie Mattek-Sands are in Everett, Wash. this weekend, along with their captain Kathy Rinaldi. It's one of the strongest U.S. teams in years.

The U.S. team's Fed Cup qualifying tie against Latvia kicks off on Friday with singles, featuring Sofia Kenin against Anastasija Sevastova followed by Serena Williams taking on Jelena Ostapenko.
