USO CC Day 14, Night Moves
By Andrew Burton

Evening, all.
The ATP final is set for tomorrow - Andy Murray of Scotland plays his first Major final against Roger Federer of Switzerland, in his seventeenth. Murray handled a comeback from a more energetic Rafael Nadal with great aplomb, recovering from a break down in the fourth set to close out the match at 6-4.
Nadal and Murray gave insightful press conferences. Many of the Tribe have commented that each of the four semi finalists would provide a compelling story as winner of this year's US Open. Tomorrow, we'll learn if it's the first Scots GS winner in a very, very long time, or perhaps Federer pulling to within one title of Pete Sampras' all time 14 GS titles.
Before then, we have Serena Williams from the USA taking on Jelena Jankovic from Serbia in the WTA final, due to start at 9pm ET. Like Murray, Jankovic is playing in her first Major final; like Federer, Serena Williams is a multiple US Open winner, her last win in New York coming six years ago.
Today's original CC post by Rosangel Valenti, settling in her seat for a night match at Ashe, is now over 900 comments long. Please use this for further tennis related conversation until after the Womens Final is over, after which some off topic conversation is OK. As always, enjoy the tennis.
